Hair transplant training: introduction and objectives
HTTC’s FUE training in Ankara combines clinical explanations with demonstrations and supervised practical work at HLC Hairline Clinic. The aim is to help physicians understand the decisions behind a hair transplant procedure and develop practical skills within the programme they arrange.
Who the training is for
Licensed physicians can attend, including doctors entering hair restoration and practitioners who want to work on particular techniques. Medical assistants and surgical nurses may join alongside a physician; their participation is discussed during registration.
Your previous experience and available training time guide the choice of topics. A shorter visit can focus on selected techniques, while a longer programme allows more time across the clinical workflow.
What the programme aims to develop
Scroll sideways if needed.
| Area | Learning objective |
|---|---|
| Consultation and planning | Understand how patient evaluation, donor assessment and hairline design inform a proposed treatment plan |
| FUE extraction | Develop instrument handling through demonstrations and supervised practice with manual or powered tools |
| Graft care | Understand graft examination, preparation, storage and handling within the procedure |
| Implantation | Connect recipient-site preparation and graft placement with the planned position and direction |
| Postoperative care | Discuss wound care, patient instructions and follow-up as part of the clinical workflow |
The course curriculum describes these areas in more detail, including further topics such as body hair transplantation and repair cases. The emphasis follows the agreed programme.
How practical learning works
Teaching includes case discussion and demonstrations, followed by practical work under direct surgeon supervision. Participants receive feedback while working with the instruments and techniques covered in their programme.
Attendance alone does not establish independent clinical competence. The HTTC certificate of completion records the training undertaken; its scope is explained on the certificate page.
Choose your next step
