3. Data We Process and Why

3.1 Website Visit

When you visit the site, we automatically process technical data: shortened IP address, date and time, pages visited, browser type, operating system, referrer. Purpose: secure operation, error analysis, abuse protection. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 31 para. 1 FADP / Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

3.2 Contact Forms and Course Enquiries

When you contact us (contact form, email, WhatsApp, phone), we process the data you provide, typically name, email, phone number, your question, and your professional background. Purpose: answering your enquiry, scheduling your participation in a training course or workshop, performance of pre-contractual measures. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request and contract performance (Art. 31 para. 1 FADP / Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

The enquiry form on our contact page is provided by Bodo (bodo-ticketing.com, form served from loginsupport.info), a product of Hairforlife & International Websolution, Andreas Krämer, Hauptstrasse 50, 8280 Kreuzlingen, Switzerland. The details you enter are stored in that system, which we use to manage enquiries and course places. The provider processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.

3.3 Course Enrollment

If you enroll in a course or workshop, we process enrollment data such as your name, contact details, professional credentials, training preferences, and participation dates. Purpose: course delivery, certificate issuance, and communication related to your training. Legal basis: contract performance.

3.4 Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to measure how the site is used. Google’s script loads with the page and runs in consent mode: until you accept analytics in the cookie banner it sets no cookies and sends only cookieless signals to Google that do not identify you. After you accept, Google Analytics sets the cookies listed in our Cookie Policy. IP addresses are truncated. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

3.5 Embedded Content (YouTube)

Videos are embedded from YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). The player loads when you open a page with a video, which transmits your IP address to Google. Cookies are set only when you start playback. Legal basis: legitimate interest in presenting our training content (Art. 31 para. 1 FADP / Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

3.6 Embedded Content (Google Maps)

The contact page embeds a map from Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.). The map loads with the page, which transmits your IP address to Google, and Google may set its own cookies with it. Legal basis: legitimate interest in showing the training venue (Art. 31 para. 1 FADP / Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

4. Recipients of Your Data

We share your data with the following categories of recipients:
  • IT service providers (hosting, email, maintenance, technical support) in Switzerland and the EU
  • Enquiry management provider (Bodo, Hairforlife & International Websolution, Kreuzlingen, Switzerland) for the contact form and enquiry handling
  • Analytics providers (Google Analytics) in the EU and USA
  • Training partners and instructors in Turkey to deliver the course you enrolled in
We have data processing agreements with all external providers to protect your data.

5. International Data Transfers

To deliver your training course, we transfer enrollment and communication data to training partners in Turkey. Turkey is not recognised by Switzerland or the EU as providing an adequate level of data protection. The transfer is necessary to fulfil your enquiry and to carry out pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 17 para. 1 lit. c FADP / Art. 49 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). By contacting us via the contact form, WhatsApp, email, or phone, you consent to this transfer.

Analytics providers (e.g. Google) may process data in the USA. These transfers are based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

6. Retention

  • Server logs: up to 30 days
  • Enquiries via contact form / WhatsApp / email: up to 24 months after last contact
  • Enrollment and course-participation records: up to 10 years (for certification records and tax documentation obligations)
  • Analytics data: up to 14 months

7. Cookies and Consent

We set strictly necessary cookies to operate the site. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner; your choice is stored in the httc_consent cookie for 12 months. You can change it at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. The embedded YouTube videos and the Google Map load without a cookie choice (see 3.5 and 3.6). 8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (TLS encryption, access controls, regular backups). Absolute security for internet data transmission cannot be guaranteed.
